You’re in for a Treat at the Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, California

Coachella Valley is where you will find Indian Wells. This is where to go when it comes to golfing. Indian Wells Golf Resort is well known for two municipal golf resorts. Although they are referred to as municipal they are actually very lush and green. Indian Wells Golf Resort is top ranking where these golf courses are concerned.

Since 1986 Coachella Valley has been popular for its municipal golf but compared to what it is now back then it was still in the dark ages. A decision was agreed upon in 2006 to overhaul Coachella Valley’s East course and also their West course. The plan was to have two separate golf courses that would be worthy of the top golfers. Indian Wells Golf Resort definitely comes in at number one.

Coachella Valley not only produced two beautiful golf courses, they also added a brand new clubhouse (53,000 square feet). The clubhouse is now the main spot for community members to gather. Both courses are beautiful to look at with various plant life, waterfalls, ponds and palm trees and there in no housing anywhere near either course.

Although beautiful in their landscaping these courses are entirely different. The two courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort are the Players Course and the Celebrity Course.

The Celebrity Course has most of the scenic holes but the Players Course has lovely green sites with the 17th hole sporting a great view of the mountains.

If you are a homeowner in Indian Wells you can advantage of 18 holes for only $35.00. At peak season you’re looking at something a little closer to $140.00, which is very reasonable for a course this nice especially during the peak of the season.

Indian Wells Golf Resort has much to be proud of. Golf week ranked Indian Wells Celebrity Course at number 6 and the Players Course came in at number 7. The Players Course is an impressive 7,376 yard which is 300 yards more playing area than the slightly more upscale Celebrity Course. The Celebrity course is also a bit narrow compared to the Players Course. The Celebrity Course has only (1) par 5 and a par 3 on its back nine.

Whatever course you decide to play on it will be a treat. If you only get to play one course don’t feel bad because they are both in great condition and a pleasure to play on. The Indian Wells Golf Resort has a lounge that is casual and a dining room located upstairs. The Indian Well Golf Resort also offers locker rooms and a golf shop. I’ve heard that their happy hour specials aren’t too shabby either.
